Dee "lilD" Porter is a top-rated radio personality, community activist, speaker, and mentor. Freestyle contests on the radio in her hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana subsequently started her radio career in 2005, as a cohost on the night show. While attending college full-time, she worked two jobs and held down a radio shift, for which she was not being paid. Three years into her new career, she acquired a job in Toledo, Ohio, as the night personality. Less than two years after, she was fired. In her debut literary effort, Porter explains her decision to remain in Ohio to chase a barely-blossomed radio dream.

Route 2: My Choice to Struggle to Succeed is about the choice I made to stay in Ohio and do radio, even though I was in between homes. I don't believe dreams are to be chased; they are to be captured and turned into reality. So I took a gamble on myself in the hopes that I could make a career out of being a radio personality. This book is the diary of a homeless superstar in the making. The official release date is October 10, 2019. Scroll down to pre-order.
